Our Spearmint Essential Speciality Oil is cooling, refreshing, reviving, a gentler, sweeter alternative to Peppermint Oil.

Stimulating, cleansing, and clearing Spearmint Essential Oil has similar properties to those of Peppermint but is a gentler oil and so more suitable for use with children.

Diluted in a carrier oil it makes a good massage for the abdomen to help calm and soothe the stomach.

A refreshing and restoring scent may also be helpful in offering a natural lift if energy levels are low.

Naturally clearing, it's also a lovely oil to use if you're feeling bunged up from a cold.

A wonderful oil to use all year round but you may find it especially lovely to use in the summer months due to its cooling effects, try adding a few drops to a foot spa to help revive tired feet.

Burning or vaporising Spearmint can help in the same way as using it in massage.

Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage after a workout to ease sore muscles or massage over the abdomen to help calm an upset stomach.

Add a few drops to your shampoo to help refresh dull and greasy hair.

Add 2-3 drops to a burner or vaporiser to help stimulate and refresh the mind.

Place a few drops onto a handkerchief or sniff directly from the bottle to help clear the airways if suffering from a cold.

Direction of use:

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill the dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle.

For electrical fragrances, follow the instructions given in the manual.
