Natures Aid Red Clover Complex with Sage, Siberian Ginseng and Liquorice. Each tablet provides 20mg of Isoflavones.

This Red Clover Complex contains 4 isoflavones, typically giving:

Formononetin: 28.6mg.

Biochanin A: 8.4mg.

Daidzein: 2.0mg.

Genistein: 1.0mg.

Red Clover & Sage

Red Clover has been used in traditional medicine in Europe, Asia and America for many generations, in both topical and internal preparations. It is often chosen in products to support women due to its rich concentration of Isoflavones, which belong to a group of compounds known as phytoestrogens.

Sage is most well known in the UK when served with a roast chicken as part of the sage and onion stuffing. However, sage does have a long history of culinary and medicinal uses. It was mentioned in John Gerrards 1597 ‘Herball’ but its reputation actually dates back to the middle ages, with many sayings referring to its medicinal values. It is another herb which is commonly used by women.

Advanced Formulation

Red Clover Complex is an advanced formula for women which provides (per daily dose):

500mg Red Clover extract standardised to provide 40mg of isoflavones.

40mg Sage Leaf extract, equivalent to 400mg dried leaf - standardised to provide 1.6mg of rosmaric acid.

40mg Siberian Ginseng extract -equivalent to 400mg dried root.

100mg Liquorice Root extract -equivalent to 1500mg dried root.
