What is Saw Palmetto?

Saw Palmetto is a small palm native to the subtropical South-Eastern United States. It is also known by the common names ‘Dwarf Palmetto’ or ‘Old Man’s Friend.’

Saw Palmetto is rich in fatty acids and phytosterols. It has been widely used in several forms of traditional medicine. American Indians used the fruit for food and to support a wide variety of urinary issues.
