Collection: Alara

Alara has always prioritized clean, healthy food, becoming a pioneer in the organic and Fair Trade movements. In 1988, Alara was licensed by the Soil Association to produce the world's first certified organic cereal.

Social fairness and environmental sustainability are central to the company's mission, leading to the production of the first Fair Trade cereals for Traidcraft and the Alara brand in 1993. Recognizing the health challenges posed by gluten, Alara became the first company licensed by the Coeliac Society in 1996 to create gluten-free cereals for those with sensitivities.
