VEGO is an independent Berlin company founded by Jan Niklas Schmidt, who started out running a vegan restaurant in the city in 2010. Its famous whole-hazelnut chocolate was developed with Italian chocolatiers and is made from organic ingredients, with Fairtrade sugar, cocoa and vanilla, and no palm oil or soya.
