Top Notch Organic Blend is Grumpy Mule's house espresso blend, made with coffee from smallholders in Colombia, Ethiopia and Honduras. Slow roasted for a sweet, well-rounded cup, it keeps a deep dark chocolate base with bright soft-fruit notes – ideal for cappuccino, latte or a straight espresso.

Grumpy Mule is an independent coffee roaster in Meltham, West Yorkshire, roasting ethically sourced speciality coffee since 2006 and a multiple Great Taste Award winner.
How to brew
Grind just before brewing – fine for espresso, medium for filter or cafetière. Use around 15g of coffee per 250ml of water, or 14–18g for a double espresso (about 27 seconds extraction). Let the water come off the boil (93–95°C) before pouring and serve straight away.
