Sourced through Union Direct Trade, the blend supports smallholder farming communities with transparent, above-market pricing. Each bag is roasted by hand in small batches at Union's East London roastery, with every order made fresh to guarantee maximum flavour.

Union is a certified B Corp — one of a small number of UK coffee roasters to hold this accreditation for social and environmental performance.

Directions for use: Pre-ground for cafetiere. Add 1 heaped tablespoon per cup, pour over water just off the boil, steep for 4 minutes, then press slowly and pour. Store in an airtight container away from heat, light and moisture.

This pre-ground version is optimised for cafetiere (French press). The coffee also works well as a stovetop Moka pot brew. For espresso, Union recommends the wholebean version, ground to your machine's specification.
