An organic single origin from the high-altitude mountains of Peru, sourced directly from smallholder farmers through Union's Direct Trade programme. Smooth and sweet, with notes of caramel and fresh stone fruits. Medium roast. Pre-ground for cafetiere.
Named after the iconic Peruvian peak, this coffee grows at elevations where cooler temperatures allow the cherries to ripen slowly — concentrating natural sugars and developing a distinctive, clean flavour. The Huadquiña cooperative, Union's farmer partner in Peru, follows traditional Andean practices including the 'Anyi' principle of communal cooperation.

Directions for use: Pre-ground for cafetiere. Add 1 heaped tablespoon per cup, pour over hot water (just off the boil), steep for 4 minutes, then press and pour. Store in an airtight container away from heat and light.
