Cassava flour is made from the whole cassava root — peeled, dried, and finely milled — producing a light, smooth, neutral-flavoured flour that is the closest natural gluten-free substitute to plain wheat flour. Unlike tapioca flour (which is just the starch), cassava flour retains the fibre and nutrition of the whole root. These certified organic cassava flour from Just Natural Organic are the choice for gluten-free baking where the closest possible result to wheat flour is required.

Recipe idea — Cassava Flour Wraps: Mix 200g cassava flour, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 150ml warm water until a soft, pliable dough forms. Divide into 6 balls, roll each very thin between baking paper sheets. Cook in a dry, hot pan for 1–2 minutes per side until just cooked through with light golden spots. Soft, pliable, genuinely flour-like wraps — the best gluten-free wrap base available.
