Rinse well. Cook 1:1.5 ratio for 15–18 minutes. Rest 5 minutes. The fragrance is most pronounced immediately after cooking.
Recipe idea — Nasi Goreng: Cook 250g white jasmine rice the day before and refrigerate. Fry 2 eggs and set aside. In a wok, fry garlic, chilli, and spring onion. Add the rice and toss over high heat. Season with 2 tbsp kecap manis, 1 tbsp tamari, and 1 tsp sesame oil. Top with fried eggs, cucumber, and crispy shallots.
