Organically hand-harvested and grown! Kelp, also known as Kombu, is famously used in Japanese cooking for its unique umami taste of salty, sweet, and smokey.

The Cornish Seaweed Company Organic Mixed Seaweed Flakes can be eaten raw or cooked, with a seasoning or stock to add to cooking.

High in Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Iodine, Vitamin B7, and Source of Vitamin B3.

High in Protein and dietary Fibre, Low Fat.

Packaged in 100% plastic-free, recyclable, and home compostable packaging.

Our Seaweeds have been lovingly hand-picked and are dried at low temperatures to preserve all the nutrients you expect from your Sea Vegetables.

Our aim is to provide you with an honest superfood of sustainably harvested, local, edible Seaweeds and to introduce these as an alternative food source that is healthy, nutritional, tasty, and good for the environment.

Directions for use: Boil for 15 minutes then use instead of lasagna sheets for gluten-free and low carb lasagna.

Wrap around fish and secure with a toothpick, then bake in the oven.

Add a strip to miso soup or stews when adding the liquid

Cook and/or soak with beans, pulses, and grains to increase digestibility.

Note: Kelp needs to be soaked for 30 mins in water to reduce high iodine levels when eaten raw, although it will still be quite chewy when eaten raw, cooking significantly reduces iodine levels.
