Organic Matcha is cultivated in Uji, Japan, the Leaves are shaded for two weeks before being picked, increasing chlorophyll levels and giving the leaves and powder a vibrant green colour.

This process also ensures that Matcha is abundant in Antioxidants called catechins, specifically a catechin called epigallocatechin gallate (or EGCG for short).

Direction for use:

For Matcha tea:

Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha in a cup.

Gently pour hot (not boiling) water over it and whisk.

It's as simple as that.

You can also try adding 1/2 teaspoon to fruit juice, green smoothies or milk or yoghurt and then giving a good whisk.
