FAQs

What is the difference between sultanas, raisins, and currants?
All are dried grapes but from different varieties. Sultanas (golden raisins) are from seedless white grapes — plumper and sweeter. Raisins are from darker grape varieties — deeper, more complex flavour. Currants (Zante currants) are from tiny Black Corinth grapes — intensely flavoured, smaller, and slightly tart. The combination provides a more complex flavour than any single variety.

No sulphur dioxide — will they still keep?
Organic dried fruits without sulphur dioxide have a shorter shelf life and naturally darker colour. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Use within 6 months of opening.
