FAQs
What does Natural Spirit taste like?
As espresso: gentle candied lemon upfront, followed by blackberry and vanilla with a clean, smooth finish. As filter: zesty, with a dark luxurious chocolate character and a complex, bold mouthfeel.
Is Natural Spirit certified organic?
Yes — all three origins in the blend are certified organic. The Fero cooperative in Ethiopia is also Fairtrade certified, farming with organic compost and no agrochemicals.
What roast level is this?
Natural Spirit is a medium roast — balancing the brightness of the organic origins with body and sweetness, making it versatile for both espresso and filter methods.
Where do the coffees come from?
The blend draws on three origins: Honduras (COCAFELOL cooperative), Peru (Chirinos cooperative, 807 members) and Ethiopia (Fero cooperative, Wonsho). All are direct trade partners of Union.
How should I store wholebean coffee?
Store in an airtight container away from heat, light and moisture. Grind just before brewing for maximum freshness. Use within 4–6 weeks of the roast date.
