Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein found naturally in milk that binds and carries iron. This one is obtained from cow's milk by microfiltration, without pasteurisation, and dried at low temperature to keep it in its native form.
The capsules use a plant-based HPMC shell with inulin as the only other ingredient. Osavi states the product is sugar free, gluten free and soy free. It contains milk and lactose.
