It is extremely sweet being 300-500 times sweetener than sugar.

A small amount (<1%) is mixed with erythritol to increase its sweetness so it's the same as table sugar.

As this product has the same sweetness as sugar it can be used to directly replace the sugar in cooking matching the sweetness.

Erythritol alone is only 70% of the sweetness of sugar.
