Our Delicate fronds of dark green Wakame have a pleasant, mild flavour and a soft tender texture, ideal to add to miso soup, salads and stir-fries.

Clearspring Wakame is Undaria Pinnatifida, a Brown Seaweed, cultivated and dried in Japan which turns bright green when soaked.

Sea Vegetables have long been treasured in Japan as a delicious, versatile and above all nutritious food.

Hand-harvested in the clear mineral-rich waters off the coast of Japan then it is washed then hung on ropes and left to slowly dry in the sun.

Clearspring Wakame is not treated with softening agents such as enzymes or monosodium glutamate (MSG)
