LoofCo Washing-Up Pads are are hand-made in Egypt from the gourd of Luffa Aegyptiaca plant with an Egyptian cotton string hanging loop. A 100% biodegradable and great alternative to other plastic washing-up sponges made from synthetic fibres, which very often end up in tanks and therefore also are eaten by fishes or other water animals.

The Washing-Up Loofah Pad is comfortable to use, when used in water swells up to become a soft, spongy and flexible pad. It’s suitable for non-stick pans and flexible enough to fit into mugs.

When dampened its natural plant fibres become soft enough for non-stick pans, supple enough to fit into mugs. Approximately 13x8cm in size. Sold as 2-Pack.

Each durable pad will last for long months and when worn out can be thrown to a compost bin. Each pad has got a handy cotton cord which can be used for hanging loofah on the sink tap. Comes flat.

Direction for use: Fits neatly in the hand. May appear abrasive when dry but when immersed in water, the washing-up pad swells to become a circular spongy flexible pad. Use in warm water with washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap. To keep loofah fresh between uses, rinse, squeeze out excess water, shake out any food particles & hang to dry from the cotton string loop. Occasionally wash in the washing machine or by hand. Last for months and when worn out can be composted.
