W H Marriage has been producing high-quality flour since 1824. They carefully select the finest grains to ensure consistent quality, sourcing wheat from local Essex farmers whenever possible, including family farms near Chelmer Mills.

To minimize waste, the bran produced during the milling process is repurposed into animal feed. The flour is packaged in bags and sacks made in the UK from paper sourced from renewable Scandinavian forests, and home baking flour is shipped in recycled boxes.
