A time-release vitamin C at 1000mg per tablet. Rather than delivering the whole dose at once — where much of it is simply excreted — the tablet releases vitamin C gradually over several hours, keeping blood levels steadier through the day.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, including during and after intense physical exercise, to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth, to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal psychological function, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and it increases iron absorption.

Frequently asked questions
What does time release actually do?
The hydroxypropylmethylcellulose matrix slows how quickly the tablet dissolves, so the 1000mg is released over several hours instead of in one hit. The body absorbs vitamin C more efficiently at lower concentrations, so less is wasted.
Should I swallow it whole?
Yes — crushing or chewing the tablet destroys the time-release matrix.
Which pack size should I choose?
All five are the same tablet. The 120 and 240 promotional packs carry 33% extra free at the price of the 90 and 180 packs respectively, so they are the best value while stocks last.
Is this the same as the Low Acid version?
No. This one is standard ascorbic acid in a sustained-release tablet. The Low Acid version is buffered with calcium and sodium ascorbate and is gentler on sensitive stomachs, but releases normally.
Is it suitable for vegans?
Yes — suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
